-: Western culture V/S Indian culture
After a pretty long time I am opening my blog account
It is so found that the lady was much unhappy during her last days and since last few years when surrounded with age boud disabilitiesShe wasprime minister of UK.for more than 11 years andwas considered to be astrongest lady in every respects as such known as IRON LADY.Number of persons ans assocviations were unhappy on her ruling but that is common in politicsBut the most unfortunate event noted is that hewr children were also not happy with her during her ladst days and had neglected their mother during the days when she needed much of them. The significant instance is such that thge opresent status and popularity of her children is only brcause of the status of the then PM. Mrs Thetcher. They have taken full advantage of the post of PM but neglected their mother when she was in badly need of them.
THIS IS SOI CALLED WESTEWRN CULTURE.
But Indian culture was not expected thus reflection. In our Indian culture, matured children were always taking care of their parents in whatever condition they may be or in whichever condition they may be.It is possible that children as a heir might not have earned anything from parents but they respect their parents and nourish them in every respects with love and care. This is original Indian culture. But I regre to stayte that the present tren d is the copy of western culture. Their treatment is according to the gains they received from their parents. If parents had given them something ,they will be rewarded according to the receipts. If parents had not given or not properly working or supporting the children , children will also discard them : but upto this extent it is proffesionalism,. But it happens in India also , may be in rare case , like Mrs Thetcher, where children had taken full advantage of parents and during last days of parents they are neglected by children. The present status of children is based on the foundation of the efforts of parents even though children reflects negatively for their parents. Naturally at latter stage of life beyond 70 and above , they are facing many physical disabilities, mental streess, and over and above they are tortured by their children :threatened by children :to extract property, rights of property and many such other claims for which parents are helpless due to ther phisical disabilities.Law cannot help, court also cannot interfere unless demanded, and demand also cost a lot which poor old pewrson may not afford.
At this dstage I would like to appreciate the efforts of one Police Officer , Ajaykumar Tomar present joint C.P Ahmedabad who in one case of such social problem had intewrvene the picture and help the aged old person against his son .I would not like to enter into any prons and cons of the case nor would like to comment anything regarding what uis the provisions within the ambit of law , but he exercised the strongest and wisest discretion to find solution for which he deserve compliments. If authorities may adopt such discretions many problems can be solved without litigations.May be provisions of law and rules are not clkear oradmissible, discretion to correct aim can solve the probvlem in the way solved by AK Tomar the prominent police officer..I must quote here that aggrieved persons those who are of more than 70 are worringdue to social sttus, comments of public, family relationships and many other such affecting features and under such tension and tortures of their children or threats of their children cannot place the picture before authorities. .Due to fear also they may not place it before authorities, But problem requires some solution against such present KALIYUG KA SHRAVANS.
I had studied many cases during the failures of cooperative banks of Gujarat during 2002-3-4 where old p[ersons were neglecterd, insulted and driven out from their own house where they were in com pelsion to transvfer their house in the name of son and after transfer they were kept un der najar ked just prision .They were compelled to add the joint name of children and ultimately proved loosers. But noway solution was available except proper counselling .If iron lady and prime ministewr of uk faced this problem , who are we before iron klady ? No but we must not disheartend try and try again you will find some way ..... To be continued ..........
